Novell could be banned from selling Linux !
BOSTON (Reuters) - The Free Software Foundation is reviewing Novell Inc.'s right to sell new versions of Linux operating system software after the open-source community criticized Novell for teaming up with Microsoft Corp.

The Fedora Project announced the release of Fedora Core 6 code named Zod.
Install-time access to third-party package repositories, extensive performance improvements, support for Intel-based Macs, and a new GUI virtualization manager are some of the primary features.

Joey Schulze has announced the availability of a third revision of the stable Debian GNU/Linux 3.1, code name 'sarge'
"The Debian project has updated the stable distribution Debian GNU/Linux 3.1. This update mainly adds security updates to the stable release, along with a few corrections to serious problems."

Ubuntu

The Ubuntu team announced Ubuntu 6.06 LTS, codenamed "Dapper Drake".
This release includes both installable Desktop CDs and alternate text-mode installation CDs for several architectures, for Ubuntu, Kubuntu and Edubuntu.
Ubuntu 6.06 LTS will be the first Ubuntu release with a long-term support cycle: free security updates and commercial technical support will be available for three years on the desktop, and five years on the server.

Most of the times, you find reviews and compares between Windows XP and Linux.
But this time, lXer website provided a review between Ubuntu, Macintosh and Windows XP.
I think it was so better if the reviewer adds some screenshots

After 8 months of development, testing and debugging, a new version of SuSE was released.
This release was provided with 5 CDs, and the DVD version will be provided in next week.
